Beasts
Beasts is an original Two-Act unpublished play written by Price Payne. The play was recognized at the 2022 TxETA playwriting festival where it received a staged reading in Galveston, TX. Since then a one act version was staged by Payne at Hardin-Simmons University, which was followed by a four week run during "The Secret Theatre Act One: One Act Play Festival". This Off-Off Broadway performance was Directed by Jess Westman and placed third in its program. The play tells the story of a recently divorced and jaded writer looking to warn the audience of the dangers of sex and love by crafting a story of a failed marriage, despite the fact this might not be the story he wants to tell.

Cathy and the Bear
Cathy and the Bear is an original ten minute play written by Payne as a project for a playwriting workshop. The play had a previous reading at Hardin-Simmons University. It's so far unpublished and available to be performed. The play tells the story of a recently deceased animal activist stuck in limbo after a clerical error fails to determine the her correct course of death.

This One-Act play written by Payne was recognized at the 2021 TxETA playwriting festival. While a digital staged reading was conducted due to closures from COVID-19. The play tells the story of three sisters who enter a humously dark battle of wills after their deceased mother leaves the house to the least deserving sister.
